A detailed assessment is required prior to a course of IMS treatment. Treatments are once-a-week and duration varies according to the nature of the pain / injury. Visit www.istop.org for a detailed description of the physiology involved in IMS treatment.

What is physiotherapy? There are many excellent web-sites explaining this inquiry, and rather than re-inventing the wheel, we’ll direct you to:
A) Australia
http://www.physiotherapy.asn.au/index.php/physiotherapy-a-you/physiotherapy-a-you
B) Britain
http://www.csp.org.uk/director/public/whatphysiotherapy.cfm
C) Canada
Canada came third for a simply reason - the site does not explain a lot.
D) Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_therapy
E) Eire

F) New Zealand

You may have noticed that regardless of your destination, the core message is that physiotherapy is used to assess, diagnose and treat physical conditions and illnesses that affect people in all ages and social groups, to assist in preventing injuries in the workplace or on the sports field, and to promote healthier lifestyles for all.
